Chewie is a dog that I did a RCCL surgery on about 3 months ago. The dog did well, but after 1 week ruptured the other cruciate and could not walk. We ordered the bilateral stifle brace and the pet has done very well. It allowed Chewie to walk and also to not injury the surgery. He was actually trying to walk on that leg a week after surgery since the other one was more painful. It has been about 3 months with the brace and we have not had any problems. We are waiting to schedule the next surgery to make sure the dog is up for it. The brace has made all the difference.
